Interior Design Tips

Book Smart Style
Arranging your books in an upright
position is very librarian.  Think of your
book shelves as a collage.  Place
some books in a stack and others
upright.  Scatter pictures, flowers and
other accessories around the shelves
as well.

When you purchase your book case,
make sure you have properly
measured your space and your
books!  Make sure the shelves will
accommodate your largest and
smallest books.

Wall Display
A great way to display and show off
your photos and collectibles is wall
mounted or “floating” shelves.  By-
pass the museum look by combining
your favorite collector items and
pictures and placing them on shelves.
Take a few floating shelves and
stagger their position on the wall and
display your items.  Keep it fresh by
rotating your collectibles throughout
the year!

Please do keep in mind these shelves
are not made to hold a great deal of
weight.

Going to the Dr.?

Go Prepared – Take a moment to write down your questions and concerns or
anything you want to discuss.

Take Support – Ask a family member or a friend to go with you.  Family
member and friends are also a great help with thinking of questions and topics
to discuss with your Dr.

Don’t be so quick to take your clothes off – Ask to speak with your Dr. before
your exam begins.  You might need to make arrangements for this before your
scheduled appointment so your Dr. can work it into his patient time frame.

Just get it off your chest! – Be honest, let your Dr. know what you are thinking
and let your Dr. know if you are nervous or uncomfortable discussing certain
issues.

Maybe it is time for a new Dr.?  If you can’t get comfortable with your Dr. or
you feel like your questions are just not being answered or worse..you feel like a
number and not a person – maybe it is time to look for a new Dr.!
