| Interior Design Tips Book Smart Style Arranging your books in an upright position is very librarian. Think of your book shelves as a collage. Place some books in a stack and others upright. Scatter pictures, flowers and other accessories around the shelves as well. When you purchase your book case, make sure you have properly measured your space and your books! Make sure the shelves will accommodate your largest and smallest books. Wall Display A great way to display and show off your photos and collectibles is wall mounted or “floating” shelves. By- pass the museum look by combining your favorite collector items and pictures and placing them on shelves. Take a few floating shelves and stagger their position on the wall and display your items. Keep it fresh by rotating your collectibles throughout the year! Please do keep in mind these shelves are not made to hold a great deal of weight. |
