| Welcome to the First Annual Amazing Kids Contest! ParentsConnections.com supports children making a difference and with that in mind we thought a contest to honor their efforts would be a fun opportunity to have their good deeds seriously recognized! We do gather personal information on this page because we would like to be able to contact you should we need to. There is no need to provide the childs name or place of residency. We want to make sure all children are protected, we just want to hear and share the story! You are welcome to provide as much information as you would like. Personal information will not be shared or displayed unless you specifically give permission to ParentsConnections.com to do so. All stories will be open to viewer vote as soon as they are posted. A panel of judges will read each story and score them. The overall score is determined 50% viewer votes and 50% judges score. All decisions are final! Winners will be contacted by March 5, 2009. Only the First and Second Place Winners will be contacted. The children featured in the story must be 18 years old or younger. Stories should share the efforts of a child making a difference in someone's life, school, community, church, state, country or worldwide. Entries for the 2009 contest will be accepted and posted beginning January, 2009. You may not enter the same story twice! First Place: $50.00 U.S. Savings Bond Second Place: $25.00 U.S. Savings Bond CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST The Creative Writing Contest will have the same guidelines and awards as mentioned above. Please specify age of author at time of submission. We look forward to reading exciting, creative stories! Stories should be non-published original works. ParentsConnections.com will not sell or profit in any way from any submitted stories.
